Founded in 2013 by competitive cyclists wanting to race for a regional team instead of competing against each other from different bike shops, PTAC partners with bike shops and is sponsored by local companies with a vision for youth cycling as a lifelong sport. PTAC is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit that provides leadership, services and support to programs it creates that promote cycling for healthy living. We also design, build and maintain trails.

Our middle and high school mountain bike teams compete in the Georgia Cycling Association and support every student-athlete in the development of strong body, strong mind and strong character.

Prima Tappa Athletic Club is dedicated to the promotion of health and fitness in North Georgia.

Our sponsors benefit from that mission and see Prima Tappa as a way to promote healthy living and fight against things like childhood obesity.
